Hey you, all members of the French Lenny Kravitz Board,
I guess now it is really time to introduce myself since I've seen some of you a couple of times now.
My name is Jos, I'm married and I live in Reusel, which is a small town near Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
Even at a young age (born in 1966!) I have always been interested in music and in my early teens I discovered a band called "the Beatles"; soon I started to listen to all of their music and by the end of 1980 I was really into the Beatles. Then John got killed and that really shook me up; I found out that music could also give other type of feelings other than just listen to a nice tune. Anyway, after that my musical interest broadened and I visited many concerts and festivals. At one of those festivals, lying in the grass, I heard a nice tune flowing over the field, so I stood up and went to see who that was playing; some black guy with dreads, bangin'on a guitar, but the energy was huge! So I looked in my festival magazine and I found out it was no other than Lenny Kravitz; I was sold! It was the 4th of july 1993. Soon after I bought the 3 albums which were available at that time and I also found out that Lenny was going to play in Holland that year in november for 2 shows; I immediately bought tickets and during these two concerts the real Lenny-fever came over me. Ever since I try to visit his concerts whenever they are near and there I have met some of the French Board members. My most memorable Lenny Kravitz moments were the small venue concerts, march 2002 in Amsterdam and the concerts in october 1995, Cologne and Amsterdam.
Well, my french is not so good, so google chrome helps me a little here and there, but the automatic translation sometimes gives me a big laugh.
