Lenny Kravitz to play intimate London show[/large]

Singer wants to perform in front of small crowd

Lenny Kravitz has decided to perform a small gig in London in front of just 200 people to try out new material.

The rocker is more used to playing in stadiums in front of thousands of adoring fans.

Yet the “Going My Way” star wants to try out his new material in a more intimate environment. He wants to sing songs from his new album, 'Black and White America' as well as classic hits from his back catalogue.

The gig will be at London’s controversial club The Box.

The news was broken by Absolute Radio on DJ Christian O’Connell’s breakfast morning show as they are putting up tickets in a contest.

He said: “Lenny Kravitz is an incredible artist and the fans that are lucky enough to win tickets are in for a real treat.

“He oozes cool and with such an intimate audience the gig promises to be very special indeed.”

The singer recently told how the lyrics for the new album came to him in a dream.

He said: "It feels almost euphoric. The songs come fully formed. I actually hear a record playing, and I'm digging it. Then I wake up and realise, 'Wait, that's not a record. That's a song. It's something new.' Then it becomes a matter of quickly finding a tape recorder."

Absolute Radio will be giving fans the chance to win tickets to the show – which takes place on September 12 – in the run up to it, and it will be filmed to be viewed at www.absoluteradio.co.uk.

Vient de finir un film de Gary Ross, il sortira en mars. Adore jouer parce que cela n'a rien a voir avec lui , cela lui permet de s'echapper.

sinon pour lui les vacances , lui qui est souvent en vadrouille ,c'est à la maison , le matin il se lève (comme nous en fait :P) se promène , explore sa grande maison et redécouvre des pièces qu'il avait oubliées :nez: !!
il dit que sa vie n'est pas aussi excitante qu'on pourrait l'imaginer être pour une rock star , il passe le plus de temps possible avec sa famille ses amis ,ses musiciens l'important étant d'être ensemble et d'être attentif les uns aux autres
Sur scène il pourrait jouer avec n'importe qui , puisque c'est la musique qui prime

Lenny Kravitz wants to work with Adele.

The 'Fly Away' hitmaker is a huge fan of the British singer and sees similarities between her and himself in the early stages of his career.

When asked who he admired, he said: "Well Adele, obviously, she's amazing. I'd love to work with her, she's got a beautiful voice, and it's amazing how she's doing her thing.

"She's number one just all the time, and making great music. I like that, you know, it reminds me of how it was when I came out, because what she's doing isn't exactly what the norm of radio is, she came in and made a slot for herself, you know."

As well as wanting to work with Adele, Lenny dreams of playing London's iconic Royal Albert Hall venue.

Speaking to Absolute Radio's Vicky Blight following an intimate performance at London venue The Box, he said: "I've never played the Royal Albert Hall, I'd love to play there, I'd love to play there, it's just kind of a classic building, something that you grew up hearing about, you know, but I just like playing. We have an array of great venues in the tour, you know, there are going to be pretty much all indoor arenas because its winter, it will be fall/winter, and then we'll come back next year for arenas and stadiums."

Voilà le pourquoi du comment des 2 ans de tournée. Une tournée des stades prévue l'année prochaine.

Pour info, le nouveau stade à Lille, c'est Juillet 2012 ! :top: .......je crois qu'ils cherchent encore qui va l'inaugurer (concert ou sport ?).

Voilà un concert qui pourrait être top Adèle en 1ère partie de LK !!!

C'est chaud, légalement parlant on a pas le droit de proposer en téléchargement des vidéos pour lesquelles il y a des droits dessus (émissions télé.........) j'ai dû fermer un forum à cause de menaces de représailles et de plainte.
